Shared accommodation, City of Ubuntu, Cameroon

Shared accommodation in the City of Ubuntu.

The ‘City of Ubuntu’ pilot project is located on a 27-hectare plot of land in Sanki, Cameroon. Among other things, a modular community centre with sleeping areas for a total of 40 people, the associated sanitary facilities and a communal area for meetings with a cooking and dining area, as well as storage areas, is being built.

Circular economy, structural and ecological sustainability, clay construction, orientation towards local building methods and modular expandability are some of the key points of the project.
